On April 1, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Bhopal-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express train, Madhya Pradesh’s first Vande Bharat Express. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangu Bhai Patel, and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan were also present at the Rani Kamalapati station. The train is India’s 11th Vande Bharat Express and will cover a distance of 708 km between Bhopal and New Delhi in 7.45 hours. The Prime Minister highlighted the need to improve the Indian railway system and claimed that Vande Bharat Express has become a super-hit. He also interacted with schoolchildren onboard the train who were selected through a drawing and essay competition. The Vande Bharat Express is designed to provide a faster, more comfortable, and more convenient travel experience for rail users and boost tourism and economic development in the region.
It appears that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was referring to individuals or groups who are allegedly attempting to tarnish his image by spreading negative propaganda. He claimed that some of these people have been working on this agenda since 2014 and have given a “supari” or contract to various individuals to execute their plan. He further suggested that some of these individuals are based outside the country while others are operating from within. It’s unclear who these individuals or groups are and what specific actions they have taken to tarnish the Prime Minister’s image.
