Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, India, that resulted in the loss of five Indian Army personnel. It is heartening to know that a massive search operation has been launched by the security forces to nab the terrorists behind the attack. The use of special forces teams, drones, surveillance helicopters, sniffer dogs, and the coordination between the Army, Police, and Intelligence Agencies will hopefully lead to the capture of the terrorists. Apart from getting hold of the terrorists, the search operation will also try to identify any workers on the ground who could have provided supplies and helped the terrorists with knowledge about the topography of the place. It is crucial to cut off any such support network to prevent further attacks. It is good to know that several suspects have been detained for questioning after the attack. The investigation leads to the identification and punishment of all those involved in the heinous act.

My thoughts are with the families of the soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty. All salute their bravery and service to the nation. It is heartening to see the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, expressing his condolences and assuring the nation that their service will never be forgotten. It is also good to see political parties condemning the attack and citizens protesting against terrorism.

The security forces are not only focusing on capturing the terrorists responsible for the attack but also identifying any support networks that may have facilitated the attack. It is important to cut off any such support networks to prevent future attacks.

One Army person was critically injured during the attack, and hope they receive the best medical treatment and recover soon. The use of drones and sniffer dogs is a useful tactic to locate any hiding terrorists and ensure the safety of the people in the area.

The entire area has been cordoned off to prevent any further incidents and ensure the safety of the people in the region. We hope that the search operation leads to the swift capture of the terrorists responsible for the attack and brings justice to the families of the soldiers who lost their lives.
