Nationalist Congress Party leader (NCP) Ajit Pawar joining the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) coalition in Maharashtra, India. NCP chief Sharad Pawar stated that there has been no discussion about this matter in the party yet. Earlier, NCP leader Supriya Sule supported Ajit Pawar’s statement that he is prepared for the Chief Minister’s post in the state. However, she also criticized the speculations about Ajit Pawar leaving NCP to join BJP and urged the media to focus on important issues like agrarian crises and farmer issues.
Supriya Sule, a leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), has stated that it is not wrong to have ambition or a dream in politics, and that everyone has it. She also said that there is nothing wrong with being open about one’s ambitions, and that NCP leader Ajit Pawar is very honest in talking about his aspiration to become Chief Minister of Maharashtra.When asked about why there are speculations about Ajit Pawar leaving NCP to join BJP, Sule replied and said, “I find it very amusing. I am very busy with the development works of the state. I hate to say this but there is a lot of gossip going on right now it’s unfortunate that nobody is focusing on agrarian crises and farmer issues. These issues should be high on the agenda instead of rumours and speculation about Ajit Pawar in the media.”
NCP leader Supriya Sule commented on the speculations about Ajit Pawar leaving the party to join the BJP by saying that she finds it amusing and that she is focused on the development works of the state. She also expressed her disappointment that the media is not highlighting the pressing issues of agrarian crises and farmer issues that should be high on the agenda instead of rumors and speculations.
