Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has inaugurated a new office of his political party, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), in the national capital of Delhi. The four-storeyed building in Vasant Vihar will be the centre of the party’s expansion activities across the country, according to party leaders. The building has been built according to vastu shastra, and the inauguration was done amid chanting of Vedic hymns. Mr Rao also unfurled the national flag in the office premises. BRS has nine MPs in the Lok Sabha, seven MPs in the Rajya Sabha, and 105 MLAs in Telangana.
In December last year when Rao inaugurated the BRS office on the Sardar Patel Marg, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav, Janata Dal (Secular) leader H D Kumaraswamy, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) leader and MP T Thirumavalavan and farmer leaders from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Tamil Nadu were in attendance.
It seems that the inauguration of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) office in Delhi last year was attended by several political leaders and farmer representatives from different states of India.
It is KCR’s statesmanship and perseverance for the formation and development of Telangana that today BRS, with nine MPs in Lok Sabha, seven MPs in Rajya Sabha and 105 MLAs in Telangana, has grown into a national powerhouse,” she said in a statement
In the statement, KCR’s daughter K Kavitha praised his father’s leadership and perseverance for the formation and development of Telangana, which has helped the BRS party grow into a national powerhouse. According to her, the party currently has nine Members of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, seven Members of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha, and 105 Members of Legislative Assembly in Telangana.
