Tina Datta, the well-known face of Colors TV, has been continuously being questioned about her relationship with Shalin Bhanot. Tina Datta has always said that she only sees him as a good friend. She disclosed how she is of forgiving nature and ends up giving Shalin a chance whenever he comes and apologizes. She was also seen telling Nimrit that because they live under the same roof, she falls for Shalin’s puppy face and forgives him. Tina also went on to admit to Shalin that she doesn’t feel for him, and cant even in future fall for someone who goes around talking bad about her on camera.

There has been a lot of fights between Tina and Shalin Bhanot. Once they were talking, which led in a huge fight between them and Tina Datta criticised him for comparing her with Soundarya. She said, “Did you just say that on my face? You are the cheapest person in this house and fake. Keep your acting to yourself. Ye acting na apne Ghar par karna jaake, mere saamne mat karna because I am a better actor than you. Everyone can see your acting Shalin Bhanot.”
The fight between them continues as Shalin tells Tina to end their relationship. “If you think you are the righteous person so just leave me alone, be with yourself. I will just leave you alone. You made fun of us this fuc**** shi* is (referring to the bond they shared with each other),” said Shalin.
