Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader, K Kavitha, daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, is being questioned by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi liquor policy case. She arrived at the ED’s office at around 11.18 am to appear for questioning. K Kavitha had arrived in New Delhi on March 8, hours after the ED issued a process for questioning. BRS leader KT Rama Rao on Friday also arrived at the hearthstone of his father in New Delhi.
News agency reported that Kavitha will be made to sit face-to-face with Hyderabad-grounded businessman Arun Ramchandra Pillai, who was arrested in connection with the liquor policy case on Monday night. Kavitha nominated the process as “tactics of intimidation” by the Centre against KCR and the BRS, adding that the party will continue to fight and expose the Centre’s failures and will raise its voice for a brighter and better future for India. South Group comprises Kavitha, Sarath Reddy (protagonist of Aurobindo Group), Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy (MP, Ongole), his son Raghav Magunta, and others.
The South Group was being represented by Pillai, Abhishek Boinpalli and Butchi Babu, the civil agency disquisition has revealed. Pillai along with his associates was coordinating with colorful persons to execute the political understanding between the South Group and a leader of Aam Aadmi Party Pillai has been an abettor and was involved in the effects from the South Group and the recoupment of the same from the businesses in Delhi, the ED disquisition reveals. Meanwhile, several BRS workers offered a kick against BJP’s Bandi Sanjay over his alleged depreciatory reflections against K Kavitha. Leaders of BRS held demonstrations in Hyderabad and New Delhi seeking strict action against the BJP leader.
Several BRS women leaders from the Secunderabad Cantonment filed a complaint with the Begumpet police station, demanding that the police take action against him. Other police stations also entered complaints, including Vanasthalipuram and SR Nagar. Party leaders and members of the skeleton also offered demurrers at other corners. The protesting BRS members raised taglines against Bandi Sanjaya and demanded the BJP state chairman apologize to Kavitha Kalvakuntla.
