The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena of stealing credit for work done by the government in the capital city. The LG had claimed that the Yamuna river will be cleaned in Delhi by June 30 and that he had no objections if any minister wanted to take credit for the work done. AAP minister Saurabh Bharadwaj hit back at the LG, saying he had seen the LG visiting the work sites of the Delhi government and issuing press releases that portrayed him as doing the work. Bharadwaj said the LG was misleading people and was not authorized to spend even Rs 1 of Delhi’s budget.
Mr. Bharadwaj’s response to VK Saxena’s controversial comment suggests that having a degree is an important qualification for certain professions, including secretarial work and medical treatment. He also highlights the irony of VK Saxena’s statement by pointing out that even though the chief minister and prime minister do not necessarily need a degree to hold their positions, they still rely on qualified professionals with degrees to perform important tasks. This response emphasizes the value of education and the important role it plays in many professions. While degrees may not be required for certain positions, they often provide individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles and serve their communities effectively. This statement seems to suggest that the individual being referred to is taking credit for the work being done by the government, despite not being directly involved in the project. The speaker seems to be suggesting that the person is falsely taking credit for the work to gain public support or to improve their own image.
