Gill won the Orange Cap for being the tournament’s highest run-scorer, while Shami claimed the Purple Cap as the leading wicket-taker. However, their outstanding performances couldn’t secure a win for their team in the final.
In the final match, Gill fell short of scoring his fourth century of the season, contributing 39 runs off 20 balls. Nonetheless, Gujarat Titans managed to post a formidable total of 214 runs on the board, thanks to a blistering knock of 96 runs off 47 balls by Sai Sudharsan.
