House of Wok is a popular Asian cuisine restaurant in India that promises to offer authentic flavors from countries like China, Japan, and Thailand. Started by two childhood friends, the restaurant has now grown to five outlets across the country. Their expansive menu caters to all kinds of cravings and is sure to satisfy your taste buds.
House of Wok’s dishes is quite impressive. The Wasabi Chilli Mayo Prawns had the perfect balance of creamy mayo, tender prawns, and pungent wasabi. The Chicken and Water Chestnut Dimsums were decent, but the Cream Cheese Truffle Dimsums was an absolute winner. The Cottage Cheese Chilli was a delightful twist on the classic ‘chili paneer,’ with an appetizing blend of spices and flavors mixed with succulent cottage cheese.
Moving on to the main course, Chilli Garlic Noodles and Hakka Noodles, paired with Diced Chicken in Black Bean Sauce. While the gravy was good, it was not extraordinary, but it complemented the flavorsome and perfectly cooked noodles. The chili garlic noodles were so delicious that the author could have them without any sauce or gravy.
The author was particularly impressed with House of Wok’s Cream Cheese Truffle Dimsums, which topped their list of recommendations. The restaurant has plans to open its own dine-in restaurant in Gurugram, and the author is excited to visit it after tasting their food.
House of Wok seems like a great option for those who crave authentic Asian cuisine in India. With an extensive menu, delicious dishes, and plans to open their own dine-in restaurant, House of Wok is worth a try.
