Fire broke out at the recently constructed Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat Complex erecting on Friday early hours. Sources said the fire erupted from the top bottoms where the wood work for innards was on around 3 am. The workers noticed the bank and incontinently advised their in- charge. On entering information, about 12 fire machines rushed to the spot and the fire department and police labor force took part in the fire fighting.
Fire officers said the fire was fully brought under control. The workers at the under construction structure noticed a bank jutting from the main complex, upon which some fire tenders were rushed to the spot. Police brigades also swung into action to bring the situation under control. The fire was doused within a short time, and officers said that the fires were likely to be caused due to a short circuit at an AC articulation. The fire was brought under control after five hours. “We’re catching on to the factual reasons for the fire accident,” said District fire officer Srinivas Reddy. The fire station was near BRK Bhavan, so nippy action was taken and fresh fire machines were brought in to control the fire. There isn’t an important loss as the structure is still in the construction phase,” the control room stated. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is listed to inaugurate the new Secretariat on February 17, on the occasion of his birthday.
KCR had laid the foundation gravestone for the construction of the new Secretariat structure at the beginning position near Hyderabad’s Hussain Sagar lake in June 2019. The complex is coming up in about seven lakh square bases. It has all ultramodern amenities, and included a cost of further than Rs 600 crore to construct. Despite the foundation gravestone being laid in 2019, the work was delayed due to pending cases in the High Court as well as the COVID- 19 epidemic. The old Secretariat was last demolished in 2020, over KCR’s plans to construct a brand new secretariat. Despite opposition from numerous environmentalists and heritage activists that the structures could be repaired rather, the Chief Minister went ahead with his plans.
