Ahead of their IPL 2023 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mohammed Siraj, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) player, hosted his teammates, including captain Virat Kohli, at his new house in Jubilee Hills, Film Nagar, Hyderabad. A video shared on social media showed Kohli and Faf du Plessis entering Siraj’s house, accompanied by other members of the team. RCB also shared pictures of the visit, mentioning it was “Hyderabadi Biryani time!” in their caption.
RCB is currently in a good position with 12 points after playing the same number of matches in IPL 2023. To secure their spot in the playoffs without any complications, they need to win their remaining two matches. The team is looking confident after their dominant 112-run victory over the Rajasthan Royals in their previous game.
During that match, the Royals had a woeful batting performance, which led to their dismissal for a mere 59 runs. Chasing a target of 172, they suffered a remarkable collapse, getting bowled out in just 10.3 overs. This total became the third-lowest in IPL history, showcasing the Royals’ inexplicable batting failure. Interestingly, it was also the second-lowest total for the Royals, only managing to surpass their lowest score of 58 runs against the same opponents back in 2009 by just one run.
The upcoming match between RCB and Sunrisers Hyderabad will take place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. With the confidence gained from their previous victory and the desire to secure their place in the playoffs, RCB, led by Faf du Plessis, will be aiming to continue their winning momentum.
