Major Fire Erupted At A Famous Commercial Building Complex In Hyderabad

Six people, including four women, are  verified dead following a major fire that erupted at a notorious marketable structure complex in one of the busiest areas of Secunderabad, Telangana, Thursday evening, the police said. The departed,  linked as R Shiva, R Vennela, B Shravani, B Pramila, Triveni, and Prashanth, were trapped inside the 10-storeyed Swapnalok Complex and died of asphyxiation, said fire officers. “Six people have died so far, including four girls and two boys. These people were outside when the fire broke out.

By the time they were taken out, they were critical and were declared dead in the sanitarium. We have also  saved 7 people,” said North Zone DCP Chandana Deepthi.   Meanwhile, fire tenders were rushed to the spot. DRF and police officers also conducted deliverance operations. Union minister G Kishan Reddy expressed deep grief over the loss of lives in the accident. The blaze was brought largely under control an hour and a half after it broke out in the structure. Many persons who were trapped on the fourth and fifth bottoms rushed towards the  sundecks and using mobile phone lights advised the fire officers.

Police stationed a fire snorkel truck to reach and bring them down. On the information handed by those saved about many further including persons being trapped inside the structure, fire labor force launched coordinated deliverance operations by roping in labor force from colourful disaster  operation agencies including the fire department, GHMC Disaster Response Force, and original police. Elderly officers including Director, EV DM GHMC, N Prakash Reddy, and other officers of the fire department entered the structure to trace the persons stressed trapped. As the structure was covered with thick banks, the officers  transferred the labor force equipped with oxygen equipment to the top bottoms. Those saved from the structure were shifted to ambulances and later to hospitals for first aid as they complained of uneasiness. Beast Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav reached the spot and interacted with officers from different exigency departments.
