Manchester City returned to the top of the Premier League table with a 2-1 win over Fulham, with Erling Haaland scoring his 50th goal of the season. Haaland’s goal also equaled the Premier League record of 34 goals in a single season, set by Andy Cole and Alan Shearer in 42-game campaigns. Fulham equalized through Carlos Vinicius, but City regained the lead through Julian Alvarez.

Newcastle beat Southampton 3-1, with Callum Wilson scoring twice after coming off the bench, while Manchester United edged Aston Villa 1-0 with a goal from Bruno Fernandes. Liverpool beat Tottenham 4-3 in a thrilling encounter, with Richarlison scoring a late equalizer for Spurs before Diogo Jota won the game for the Reds.

Southampton and Leeds are facing relegation, while Bournemouth moved 10 points clear of the drop zone with a 4-1 win over Leeds. United fans protested against the Glazer family, with a banner reading “Full Sale Only”.
