Narendra Modi’s mother has been admitted to hospital last night in Ahmedabad. The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi visited his mother Heeraben Modi today. In Ahmedabad last night, she was admitted in a hospital. She turned 99 in the month of June this year. PM Narendra Modi took a flight around 4 pm and flew in from Delhi. He spent over an hour with his mother and left the hospital just before 5.30. The UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre released a statement and said the condition of Heeraben Modi is stable. The hospital has not shared any other information with the media.
Many of the ministers from Gujarat including Health minister Rushikesh Patel visited PM Modi’s mother to the hospital. Rajya Sabha MP Parimal Nathwani and state chief secretary Kuniyil Kailashnathan also arrived at the hospital to meet Heeraben Modi. The BJP’s Gujarat MLAs Darshanaben Vaghela and Kaushik Jain also reached the hospital. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also conveyed good wishes for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother. Rahul Gandhi tweeted “The love between a mother and a son is eternal and priceless. Modi ji, you have my love and support in this difficult time. I hope your mother gets well soon.”
The doctors of UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre said on 28 December 2022 Wednesday that she is stable and fine adding that his mother is likely to remain in the hospital until this evening or Thursday morning, when a decision on their discharge is likely to be taken by a team of doctors treating them in consultation with the family. PM Modi met with his mother during the recently concluded Gujarat Assembly elections. On December 4, a day before the second phase of polling in Gujarat, Modi went to his mother’s residence in state capital, Gandhinagar where he sought his blessings before the polls. Earlier, the PM spent time with Heeraben on her 100th birthday on June 18.
