OnePlus Nord Buds 2 Review: Nord Bad at All

The OnePlus Nord Buds 2. These earphones are priced at Rs. 2,999 and come with active noise cancellation (ANC), better sound quality, improved battery life, and connectivity. The earpieces are IP55 rated for dust and water resistance, and the charging case has a curved design and a USB Type-C port for charging. The earpieces are available in two colors, white and grey, and come with three pairs of silicone ear tips. 

The HeyMelody app lets you tweak the settings on the Nord Buds 2, which include switching between ANC and transparency modes, choosing from a handful of equalizer presets, activating the ‘BassWave’ mode that boosts bass, a low-latency Game mode, and customizing the tap controls.

 You can also view battery levels for both earpieces and the charging case separately, and update the firmware on the headset. The earphones use Bluetooth 5.3, with support for the SBC and AAC codecs. Each earpiece has two microphones for voice and ANC functionality. The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 have a punchy, aggressive, and bass-heavy sound and better tuning now ensures a decent level of detail as well, aided just about enough by active noise cancellation to offer a better overall sound.

 The battery life is decent, offering up to 7 hours of listening time on a single charge, and the charging case offers two additional charges, for a total of up to 20 hours of listening time.
