The solar-powered vehicle has a shade-like structure where the solar panels are fixed. Mr. Goenka praised the innovation and expressed his pride in India for producing such frugal yet sustainable creations. The video shows a youngster driving the vehicle with six other passengers.
The innovative vehicle has a range of over 200 km and can go further if exposed to intense sunlight, costing between ₹ 8,000 and ₹ 10,000 to manufacture. The video has since gained over 69,000 views and 3,000 likes, with users praising the innovation and the resourcefulness of people in limited conditions.
They also highlighted the need to be sustainable and resourceful to achieve success. The comments were flooded with praises for India’s technological advancements, with users saying that such innovations are seen everywhere, from rich to poor and young to old.
