Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon recently appeared as a guest on The Kapil Sharma Show, alongside author Sudha Murthy and Oscar-winning producer Guneet Monga. In a promotional clip shared on social media, Tandon can be seen discussing her look in the early years of her career, particularly in the classic film Andaz Apna Apna. She recalls her curly hair and wonders why she chose that particular style for herself. Kapil Sharma, the host of the show, responds by saying that everyone feels the same way when looking at their old pictures.
To this, Tandon jokingly adds that Sharma probably feels the same looking at his current pictures too, leaving the host momentarily tongue-tied. Tandon then quickly stands up and kisses Sharma on the cheek to assuage him. Sharma responds by saying that he would prefer more insults if it means getting a kiss after each one.
The official page of Sony Entertainment shared the clip and announced the upcoming episode, promising a triple dose of entertainment with Kappu’s jokes, Tandon’s antics, and Murthy’s stories.
Earlier this year, Tandon was awarded the Padma Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian award, at a ceremony in Rashtrapati Bhavan. She shared a video from the event on her social media account, expressing her gratitude for the love and honor she received.
Meanwhile, Sharma was last seen in a leading role in the film Zwigato, directed by Nandita Das. The actor-comedian is known for his impeccable comic timing and has left the country’s biggest stars in splits with his jokes and banter on his show.
