In an exclusive chat with Hindustan Times, the Saathiya star shared that he was aware that he wouldn’t get paid as much as he does for Hindi films, but still decided to take on the challenge of doing harder work in a language that’s not natural to him. He believes that when you feel empowered enough to do something for the joy and passion of it, whether it’s a success or failure, it doesn’t matter.
Moreover, the actor shared that he has realized that he doesn’t need to do projects just for the money or out of insecurity as an actor anymore. He stated that after being in the industry for over two decades, he has learned to pick projects astutely and believes that it’s important to stand behind something that he loves, believes in, and is attempting to do differently.
On the work front, Vivek Oberoi will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming series Indian Police Force. Shetty recently shared a still of Oberoi in action, dressed in police uniform, a safety vest, and wielding a gun in hand. Oberoi expressed his excitement to be a part of the project and thanked Shetty for the opportunity to work on such a massive scale of action. The actor made his streaming debut with Inside Edge on Amazon Prime Video and the series will also release Indian Police Force.
