The younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Anmol Bishnoi alias Bhanu, who is a fugitive and wanted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for carrying out targeted killings, was recently seen attending a wedding reception in California’s Bakersfield city. In a video that went viral on social media, Anmol was seen performing with Punjabi singers Karan Aujla and Sharry Mann at the event. However, both the singers have denied any knowledge of Anmol’s presence at the event and clarified that they were simply hired to perform and had no idea who was attending.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has included Anmol’s name in the list of notorious gangsters, and a red-corner notice from Interpol has been issued against him. Anmol is suspected to be hiding in the United States. The NIA has named him in the chargesheet for his involvement in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. According to the chargesheet, Anmol was part of a group that included Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar, Lawrence Bishnoi, Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, Sachin Bhiwani, Sachin Thapan, Monu Dagar, Pawan Bishnoi, and the shooters who planned and executed the murder of Moosewala in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29. Other gangsters including Anmol of district Fazilka, Harjot Singh Gill of Abohar, Darmanjit Singh alias Darman Kahlon of Amritsar rural, and Amrit Bal of Kapurthala are also said to be in the US. However, it is important to note that these claims have not been independently verified and should be treated as unconfirmed until more information is available.
